We also have individual filesize limits, so you won't be able to upload a 1 GB file...sorry!
Let's say you upload the wrong song or version on accident. You would want to replace the song you initially uploaded with a new one.
Because we can't tell if you are uploading new songs each time you replace a song, you can only upload a new mp3 twice for each track.
The large images atop Music, Users and the Homepage are prime real estate on www.gigacrate.com and they are an excellent way to promote you and your music.
Each feature consists of 3 image sizes...
- Large - 600px by 250px
- Medium - 295px by 295px
- Small - 295px by 142px
The images link to a song or album of your choosing. Features run for 2 weeks and you can select the start date.
Unlike the other guys, we don't want to spam the living hell out of our DJs. So we don't send individual emails for every promo we get. Studies show that this is NOT effective and in fact, pisses folks off.
Instead, we aggregate all the "email blast" songs each week into a single email.
Everyone can view our simple song statistics which include comments, views, plays and downloads for songs and albums.
Detailed statistics go much more in depth. They include all of these stats across DJ type, location, gender, age and even tags. For example, you could find out that only Club DJs in Texas are downloading your song.
This allows you to promote to specific groups of DJs. You may wish to only promote to Commercial Radio DJs that live in NY. Not a problem.
We offer default groups for you to choose from such as Commercial Radio DJs, Radio DJs, Club DJs, Mixtape DJs and many more.
We also let you create your own groups when you do an advanced User search!!
If you would like to receive emails when your songs receive user feedback, you can opt for instant, weekly or monthly emails. You can also download all feedback to date for your songs.
